— My Design Philosophy
I design with anthropology in mind.
I pay attention to how people live, interact, and solve everyday problems. It’s not just about form and function, it’s about designing for real human needs.
Hey There!
I’m Kylie Early, part industrial designer, part sourcing specialist, and part manufacturing matchmaker. At the heart of it all, I love bringing big ideas to life. My sweet spot is turning concepts into real-world products that don’t just look great on paper, they get made.
My design journey started back in Milwaukee, WI, during an internship at Ascedia Inc. It was my first taste of agency life, and I was instantly hooked. That experience pushed me to pursue Industrial Design at SCAD’s Savannah campus, where I was able to study abroad in Hong Kong, which broadened my view on how design connects across cultures.
Before graduating, I got into freelance concept consulting, which led to a full-time role as an Industrial Designer at Jackson Hedden Inc. in Birmingham, AL. There, I got to work on a diverse range of products, navigating clients from research all the way to manufacturing.
After nearly three years, I transitioned roles back to freelance while moving to Chicago, focusing on bringing thoughtful design to local spaces. Currently, I’m based in Atlanta, GA, and part of the awesome team at Kickr Design, continuing to do what I love: helping bring ideas to reality.
Thanks for stopping by,
